InfomatiX Ltd. is a small System Developer and Integrator Company specialized in the fields of CRM, Mobile Applications and Legacy Applications. We have more than 50 clients with more than 2500 users. Our products are acclaimed for their high customizability and user-friendly approach. One of our main clients, ‘Nestlé Hungary’ has awarded us with a Regional Innovation Award 2004 for our Sales Force Automation System,,called “Distiller” which was implemented for their Gastronomical sector. Two of our products (Distiller and CashTime) are market leaders in Hungary and we are proud to say that the innovation of our colleagues are strong and even these products are redesigned every two years we always provide our clients the most up-to-date solutions in the market. We have made the research and the implementation of our products without any help from multinational companies at ‘niche’ segments of the IT sector. But the company is a late entry in the IT business so at any time we implemented a product at a customer we were required to create a communication link to at least 1 ERP or Financial or CRM product. Currently we are working on solutions linking several Central European countries where the information centre is in Hungary, but the system must be implemented in neighboring countries as well in each country there is a different ERP solution so a strong communication interface is required. These experiences created a requirement for developing and implementing a communication solution, which will be usable for any kind of data exchange. Previous Research ExperienceInfomatiX was always working closely with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE). Every year 2-5 students do their diploma research at InfomatiX. These diploma works are mainly research works at the field of Mobile Technologies or Data warehousing, but the results are implemented in our products. InfomatiX’s expected benefits from FUSIONAs a member of the FUSION project InfomatiX hopes to achieve several goals. We hope that this research will be able to provide us with a head start when participating in multinational projects just as well as we hope that it will strengthen our relations with the research organization joining these projects so in the future we can participate in more research projects.
