SAP’s contribution to FUSION and expected benefits
Major contributions of SAP are in the area of Business Process Fusion Approach and Methodology,
Concept and Services Semantic Analysis, and Integration Mechanism for Semantic Business Process
Fusion. SAP Research will ensure the exploitation of the project results by transferring new technology
and concepts to appropriate SAP development groups where it will be evaluated if it could be integrated
into new or existing SAP offerings. Potential target groups within SAP are business units and technology
groups concerned with the solutions for SMEs and business process interoperability platform.
